My husband assembled it for me this morning and it's beautiful, well-made, solid construction and extremely sturdy. Unfortunately, you have to be a giant to sit in this thing comfortably. I'm 5'8" and weigh about 380 lbs. The seat is definitely designed for butts of the larger persuasion and was more than ample enough for mine, but the lowest height setting is still too high from the ground, my feet barely touch the floor, and the armrests are set so far back I can't grab them when I sit down, which means the chair rolls backwards and knocks me off-balance (I'm handicapped). Serta Bonded Leather Big & Tall Executive Chair, Brown This an excellent quality leather office chair for big and tall guys. While, I have only had this chair for a couple of weeks, I am extremely pleased with it. My previous home office chair, also purchased through Amazon, was a Z-Line executive chair supposedly built for big & tall guys but only lasted less then two years. I have a bad back and if it were just to an upright, straight position it would be wonderful. That is not the case. You sort of have to fight it into a semi-reclining position to sit comfortably. It is almost as if the seat from front to back is about 2 inches too short. It is VERY sturdy in feel. VERY easy to assemble. In general I would recommend this chair to anyone who is larger, and not so for the long and talls.
