I've learned that Kenny Chesney's new rum is distilled here. Trying to find out if they have tours, but am finding very little info about this distillery. I would guess it is Four Square distillery in St Phillips as they produce rums for a number of 'names' including Tommy Bahamas. Here's a link to their site where you'll find the contact information. Just e mail them and ask. Thanks for the info and link!!! It's called Blue Chair Bay rum and is actually made by the fine folks who make Cockspur, among others. It was created by Chesney himself, working with a blender who used to work for Canadian Club, so it's quite the international operation. Interestingly, Chesney founded and owns the company -- he didn't just lend his name to a distillery like many celebs do with their branded products. Apparently he's a bit of a rum head ;-) There are three rums - white, coconut, and coconut spiced. So my guess is that if you're a Malibu fan, you'll probably like the coconut versions.
