Scotland is such a beautiful place, why wouldn’t you want to get married here? It’s nearly coming up to our 6th year of living in Scotland and I don’t think I could imagine myself anywhere else. Living in St Andrews, Fife is the perfect place to be, we have some of the most beautiful beaches a short walk away, and recently discovered some more around Fife. We are an hour away from Edinburgh and one and half hours away from the best skiing (when we have snow of course). And talking of weather, you may think that Scotland is a cold country but we have some of the most amazing weather in the Summer and in October, Indian Summer’s, where we can still enjoy a summer feel wedding but not the high prices. And getting married here is the perfect way to celebrate our relationship. There are so many beautiful places around St Andrews or to choose somewhere around Fife or Scotland? When searching for a venue, I dragged Paradise Dude all around Fife, looking at various castles and country houses.

Until we found the perfect venue in Craigsanquhar House. A small country house hotel that sits in the hills just outside St Andrews, where you have the hotel to yourself of the day and amazing views of Fife. It is the perfect venue and the hotel has 13 rooms which we will fill with our family to make the occasion that extra bit special for us and our family.
