They are spaced 50-100 yards apart, and there is plenty of room to park your bikes around them. All cabins feature a deck, accessed by a sliding glass door, from which there is a great view of the sunsets.

These cabins are first come, first serve. It is furnished with a 2 person futon, air conditioning, heat, a small table and 2 chairs.  There will also be 2 chairs located on the deck. The South 40 shower and bathroom building is located nearby to provide additional convenience. The Outer Limits Cabin is located at the southern boundary of the campground. This cabin is 12 x 12 with an 8 x 9 deck and is within easy walking distance from the South 40 shower and bathroom building. It has air conditioning, heat, 2 single size sleeping surfaces, a small table and 2 chairs. There will also be 2 deck chairs provided on the deck. There are 12 Bear Butte Cabins that feature a great view of Bear Butte. These cabins are in a quieter area of the campground just north of the water tower. They are situated in a row, with about 8 foot of space between them, and a roadway fronting them. They have small decks which perfect for enjoying the view. Bear Butte View Cabin The rental cost does not include your campground admission.

Each person will need to purchase either the Rally, the Extended Rally, or the Early Bird admission pass to the campground and concerts. The cabins may be rented as described above, which is the Basic set-up. The Bear Butte cabins can also be rented in a Deluxe set-up, which includes a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and air mattresses for the sleeping surfaces. (In both the Basic and the Deluxe package, you provide the bed linens.) If you would prefer the Deluxe package, you should call the Buffalo Chip Campground business office at 605-347-9000 and ask for Carol. Note: None of the cabins have running water. The Barn Cabin has one room that can sleep 8 people in bunk-style beds (must bring your own bedding).  It is air-conditioned, but does not have running water. This cabin is located near the south shower/bathroom building in the South 40 RV park.  A $30 key deposit will be taken upon your arrival & refunded to you when the key is returned. The price does NOT include any person's admission to the campground.
