Labor and Delivery Our Birthing Center has delivered thousands of babies and special moments. With an average of 20 years experience, our nurses will work with your care provider and guide your family through your experience through delivery and post-partum. Our team of physicians, certified nurse midwives, certified nurse anesthetist, neonatal nurse practitioners and registered nurses provide an exceptional level of comfort and expertise for new mothers and their babies, delivering care to a complex range of patients varying in age from newborn infants to teens and adults. With the use of rocking chairs, birthing balls, water therapy and more, we are able to provide new moms with an experience all their own. Three Areas to Labor and Delivery Triage rooms –rooms where pregnant women are assessed to determine the appropriate next steps Birthing suites – individual rooms where pregnant women labor and deliver their babies Operating rooms – rooms where women undergo procedures such as C-sections

Birthing Suites: Single, Spacious and More Birthing suites provide a private, serene environment where women can labor as they choose, with or without pain medications. There are birthing balls, walk-in showers, a hydrotherapy tub and a dedicated Feng Shui suite. Couches and reclining chairs transform into sleeping spaces so family members can keep moms company during labor – and get sleep. There is space for the baby once he or she arrives, so doctors and nurses can evaluate the baby right there with the mother and she can be included in conversations with the health care team. In our birthing suites, and in our recovery room for post surgical procedures, mothers and babies experience skin-to-skin contact, an important first-step in beginning breastfeeding and bonding. Prepared for Every Scenario All the equipment needed in case the unexpected happens during a delivery is right there in the birthing suite in case a higher level of care is needed. High-risk obstetricians (also called maternal-fetal medicine specialists) are available for consultation 24/7

Comfortable, Private Space for Families and Healthy Babies Our family centered philosophy encourages keeping mothers and babies together. Mothers are encouraged to room-in with their babies and partners are encouraged to stay overnight. Babies are admitted at the bedside and skin to skin contact and bonding are promoted.
