Rietveld continued iterating on his design, creating versions as armchairs with and without perforations, like in this attributed example. Rietveld’s Zig-Zag chairs belong to the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Rhode Island School of Design Museum, Providence; and the Vitra Design Museum, Germany. Condition: Original patina intact, though the chair has been restored. Screws and nuts show age-appropriate oxidation. Chair is sturdy and presents nicely.
