He was rescued and brought into the veterinary hospital on Sunday, where a few technicians fashioned the little guy some wheels out of old toys and Legos. “This was the first time the kitten was in the cart,” Horowitz said. “There were about 12 of us watching him. We put him on the ground, and he just took off.” In spite of his paralysis, which is thought to be a result of nerve damage, Mac is doing really well. “He’s starting to slowly regain some use of his legs,” Dr. Horowitz said.

“We took x-rays, and he’s on medication to hopefully help him.
