This 800-seat amphitheatre sits on the banks of the San Antonio River, with entrances into La Villita Historic Arts Village. It is a unique performance space with the stage and natural grass seating area on opposite sides of the river.  Many wedding ceremonies are performed at the theatre, and it is an ideal setting for dance or musical performances, concerts of all genres and theatrical performances. It is home to the world-famous Fiesta Noche del Rio and Ballet Folklorico. Check the calendar for availability. Rates: Noncommercial use, $250 for first hour; $50 each additional hour Commercial use, $500 for first three hours; $100 each additional hour Venue Rental Policies & Guidelines Bolivar Hall is La Villita’s only indoor, air-conditioned venue, with capacity to seat 80 guests, and is perfect for small receptions, exhibits or meetings. The large balcony is also available for standing cocktail tables or catering setup. Bolivar Hall is located upstairs above La Villita Café, next to the main office.

The restrooms are downstairs, and this venue is not accessible for people with disabilities. Table/chair rental: $8 per table; The Cos House was built before 1835. It is the site of General Perfecto Cos’s signing of the Articles of Capitulation, across Villita Street from the Little Church of La Villita. With capacity for 100 seated or 140 reception style, it is often used for small wedding receptions, parties or dinners. The Cos House has two indoor rooms and a small food preparation area, with private, newly renovated restrooms. A covered porch leads into a large tree-shaded courtyard surrounded by a private fence covered with WPA-era artwork. Check the [calendar] for availability. The largest venue in La Villita Historic Arts Village, Mayor Maury Maverick Plaza can accommodate 2,500 people at a reception or 1,200 people for a seated function. It can be rented for wedding receptions, private parties, corporate functions or festivals, and has been home to the Maverick Music Festival and La Villita’s annual Día de los Muertos celebration to name a few.

The plaza is surrounded by grape arbors and large tree beds, with a beautiful water feature in the center. The plaza lies in the shadow of the Tower of the Americas across from Hemisfair Park. Rental includes a large concession building and restroom facilities. Rates: Noncommercial use, $1,400; A charming, medium-size venue, Plaza Juarez can accommodate 500 people for a reception or 300 for a seated dinner. A walkway leads around the corner of one of the shops at La Villita into a medium-sized area surrounded by grape arbors, flowering plants and large trees.  O’Neil Ford Plaza can accommodate 100 seated guests, and is tucked behind the Little Church of La Villita.
