No, it's not in the same class, nor as luxurious with it's plastic and not-so soft mesh vs the Aeron. But, where else is there a mesh seat bottom plus headrest for anywhere near this price range? Reclining back, a couple more combinations work. I'm 5'10", 195 lbs, and yes, it bumps into my shoulders in all but one of the configurations. NOTE: Most task chairs do not come with head rests, or a seat back high enough for heads to lean on while sitting upright. So, expectations should be inline with what is usual and customary in a 'task' chair. Simply uninstall the head rest and you're left with a low priced task chair with a mesh back and seat bottom. Hard to find a better deal on a chair with a mesh seat bottom. I sold my Herman Miller Aeron size C [biggest] after trying out the Hyken in-store. Just hope the mesh holds up. [I could also stand to lose a few pounds...] 5 year warranty on this Hyken is comforting. Good chair at a great price. Mesh allows to pass gas without having to tilt body to the side!
