I have been searching for the perfect chair for my office for years, both online and in stores, while making do with a cheap Ikea dining chair as a temporary substitute. I found this chair in a Lamps Plus store and immediately fell in love with the thing (they ordered a new one for me at the store and had it shipped to my home). I like the color (kind of a funky off-orange/tan), I like the chrome, it's comfortable, the arms and back feel very solid (as in, the arms and back are very securely attached, and won't loosen or fall off like my previous office chair). The whole seat actually came as one big piece in one massive box with the cushion built in--all I had to attach were the arm rests and wheel base.

When you lean back, it leans back with you just enough, not too far. It was easy to put together. My kids love spinning around in it. It's basically a knock-off of an Eames exectutive chair but way more affordable (if you Google "Eames Style Modern Conference Office Chair High Back Orange you'll see a similar chair). I also like the extra padding of the seat and back, which the other "Eames Style" chairs don't seem to have. I even like how the faux-leather material wraps around the arm rests with a zipper like some sort of armrest corset. The height is adjustable with a lever. I have no complaints. I'm glad I took my time searching instead of running out to an office supply store and buying whatever black-padded office chair they had in stock.
