Many people have become familiar with a similar design that Peter Galbert put in Fine Woodworking about a year ago. I first sat in this chair when I had been on a visit to Pete’s home and made a continuous arm chair with him. After the end of day three working with him he comes over to the bench and puts down a pill of his chair plans and says ‘Go back to Texas and start making chairs’. That was the push I needed to take my work further. Ever since we have kept in touch and I have recently made this rocking chair of his design. It really is the most comfortable chair design I have ever sat in. Thanks Pete, great design.
