Faye Smith Makeup & Hair is one of Vancouver's leading makeup and hair artist agencies and are the primary users of this fantastic space. Makeup and Hair Artist chair rental and full photography studio space rental is available. The space is a loft with extremely high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows meaning we get all of the natural light! We are north facing and have a small balcony so the space is always aired nicely. There are 3 makeup and hair stations, a pedicure station, a manicure station and lots of retail products, as well as a full kitchen and downstairs bathroom. All of the space on the second floor is used for cosmetic tattoo and lash services and is not available to rent. We may ask to conduct services on the 2nd floor during your rental of the first floor. You are welcome to say or no to this. The decor is absolutely stunning and unique! White, cream, gold, and wood. Fully decked out with vintage furniture including a large chandelier, chaise lounge, vintage vanities, extravagant mirrors, hanging silk plants, crystal lamps and more!

We ran 30 minutes overtime and Faye graciously accommodated us with utter aplomb. You simply MUST check out this experience for yourself!No fuss no muss. Hosted a baby shower in Faye's space and it was perfect! Everything was there and we got so many compliments on the venue choice. Every guest had something wonderful to say about it. Would definitely book again! Beautiful space with so many lovely features. Faye never specified that I had to message her the day before to get the access code for the studio. I messaged Faye an hour and a half prior to arriving there with no response. I called several times but all I got was voicemail. Luckily we had a hairstylist there that knew the number to Faye's assistant and we finally were let in 15-20mins after the booking time. If we didn't have the hairstylist there, I'm sure we wouldn't have been able to get in. Overall, the studio was very nice and beautifully decorated. Thanks for sharing this publicly Mae. A mistake did happen and as you can see from our impeccable reviews, it was a one off.
