As expected, they are a large chair. A small person will not feel comfortable because the seat is long. They appear to be sturdy, but the bag is quite flimsy. Went back to store and bought all they had left. I agree it's hard to get reclined straight from the bag. What I found is if you slide the armrests' attachments down in the back they wont pull the backrest bars forward, which are linked to the footrest, making it much easier to get reclined and relaxed!
