We bought the first green ones years ago for Guide camp - 3 chairs. Then leaders began to comment on how comfortable camping with us was - and we needed 2 more. Then we decided we wanted to keep all five for social use - as that expanded.

So we bought 3 Brown ones for the Brownies - and have just gone back for 3 more. Amazing how having comfortable seating attracts more help! These fold up so small you can take loads anywhere. They don't need a bag to carry them as the straps are always attached but never in the way. Folks with back problems much prefer them to the one piece type. The flat feet ensure they work on sand or mud and everything just brushes off them so they stay remarkably clean. Elastic bands instead of prev. good velcro straps. A perfect chair to fit in the boot of an MX-5 sports car, space is limited and it doesn't hog much of that. When sitting it is strong and light enough when carrying on a shoulder.. A good quality folding chair I should have bought two! Good value for money Compactness, well constructed, mobility have had a few folding chairs and they always seem to die quickly. not this one though. solid construction throughout and a bargain price. am off to buy another

Generally open during the summer and some limited hours in the spring and fall. On Skeleton Island we have Paddle Boat and Kayak rentals. PirateLand boats may cruise around certain areas of Long Bay Lake. Kayak rental is $3 per boat per half hour and paddle boats are $2 per person per half hour. Located right off PirateLand Trail is a snack bar and arcade. There are four half-courts open for guest use all year. We also have two play areas for children; one playground across from the Camp Store and another play area near the indoor pool.

This climate controlled room is located between the Laundromat and Camp Store and will accommodate up to about 40 to 50 people. We host many of our activities like Pot-Luck Dinner, BINGO, crafts, and other games in the Rec. Room. It features folding chairs, tables, book exchange, and magazines. Guests may rent this space for small group gatherings based on availability. Rental rates are $50 for 4 hours or $100 for 8 hours. We provide large trash cans and bags upon request. This outdoor covered Pavilion Picnic Area will hold up to about 130 people and is located next to the Indoor Pool. It features a fireplace and picnic tables. In the summer we have many events and activities here and during our Halloween celebration it turns in to a haunted house! Guests may also rent this space for group gatherings if available. Rental Rates are $50 for 4 hours or $100 for 8 hours.
