From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, we experienced the friendliest hotel staff, and it’s true, we never had to open a hotel / car door! The room was exceptionally clean (and looks exactly like the professional photos) & very spacious.
The pool helpers were as friendly as the rest of the hotel staff; remembering our names every morning and helping us find the best chairs around the pool to relax. They offer complimentary smoothies, candies, and flavored fruit water in the hotel lobby and frozen grapes, more fruit water, avian water misting, sunscreen, san tanning spray & snow cones (plus a lot more) poolside (which really helps to beat the heat!) Upon check-in, Natalie at the front desk asked if we were celebrating anything on our stay - which we were not, just a girl’s getaway. She surprised us by sending champagne & strawberries to our room on the 2nd day with a cute note wishing us a great stay & a girl’s getaway is still reason enough to celebrate! We ate at Preston's for brunch the first day - the food was good but a bit expensive (breakfast buffet was $29). There is an Aroma Espresso bar right outside the hotel that has breakfast / coffee for under $10 - so we ended up eating there the other 3 mornings. We had lunch poolside at the Nautilus cafe - and the food & drinks were very yummy!
We were lucky to be in Miami during Spa Month and had taken advantage of $100 massages at the hotel's spa. I don't have children but noticed that they had an onsite "SOBE kids camp" for guests with children, which I thought was very convenient. The hotel's location is great - within walking distance to Lincoln Road & Collins for shopping. cost of dental chair ukOverall it was an amazing trip and I will DEFINITELY stay here again!antique rocking chair for sale 6,217 reviews sorted by:table and chair rentals in connecticut I stayed in a 2 bedroom Suite at Loew's Miami Beach for a weekend in August and had a wonderful time. It's perhaps not the most luxurious hotel in South Beach, but it was modern and nice with all of the amenities you'd like - coffee machine, kitchen, bathrobes, large showers, TV, etc.
The room was spacious and the concierge even sent up champagne and snacks for our group of 8. Our balconies were nice as well, but beware that it's easy to see in if your blinds are pulled! Security was very present so we felt safe. We got taxis very quickly. The pool was smaller than Fountainbleau's, but still enjoyable if you don't mind lots, and I mean lots, of small children around. I had a $6 latte at the coffee bar in the morning - ouch - but this seems in line with the general cost of things in South Beach. The best thing about this hotel is location. It's right next to the beach and blocks from Lincoln, little havana, and all of the nightclubs. We took a short taxi ride to Nikki Beach for Sunday Brunch and Fountainbleu, but everything else was walking distance. All employees were kind and accommodating. This is a great place if you want to experience South Beach day and nighttime! This hotel has everything. The location is right on the beach in South Beach, easy walking distance to all places.
It is impressive from the moment you drive up and the numerous valets take car of you car and smoothies and appetizer bites while you check in. Even the more basic room we had was spacious and luxurious. The pool area is beautiful. We spent a day on the beach with lounge chairs and an umbrella (which you do have to pay extra for). Waiters will bring drinks and food right to your chairs. The staff was professional and attentive everywhere in the hotel (valets, concierge, bellmen, reception, bars and restaurants). We would definitely go back! I usually don't write reviews but this is one experience I had to share!!!!!! Lovely facility and the staff in the hotel will almost tap dance for you if asked!! This was my first trip to Miami and also my first time traveling without my husband, I must say I felt completely safe on the grounds of the hotel and on the strip close to the hotel. GO TO THE SPA ELEMIS ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS BAMBOO MASSAGE!!! Thanks to Kevin and Riberto for your total kindness!!!!
The ocean was....the ocean. From a first timer.....risk taker GO!!!!!!! Room Tip: Ask to be in the tower!!! I learned that off trip advisor We decided to spend our honeymoon at a childrenfriendly hotel resort like the Loews as we have a little baby. Already when reserving, we told that this was for us a special occasion as we were just married, and we of course asked for the crib. Also, while reserving, the hotel convinced us to take an ocean room instead of a normal one, as the partial see views were worth it. Well, I somehow could understand that we don't receive absolutely any welcome present if we just reserve a normal ocean room and not a nuptial suite. But we got a room which was just over the kitchen, so we couldn't even open the window to enjoy the terrasse with the views without smelling to fried chicken. Also, we needed to wait exactly 1 hour to get our luggage and the baby crib into our room, and that was for us quite stressful, as we arrived after a 10-hour flight with an overtired crying baby and we were not even able to put it to bed...
I went to the help desk to complain the very first day after that incident. The person at the help desk didn't really cared and told me that I would need to wait until my stay is finished to write a complain per email. Only after 5 days the changed us to a better room, far away from the kitchen. I wrote a complain after my stay and never ever got any kind of reply and that makes me quite upset. Otherwise, the hotel pool is nice, the location is great and the pool and beach staff are friendly, but I find it a pitty that such big hotels don't care on wether the guests are happy or not, and I think I won't return to Loews anymore. Overall a great hotel with location, large rooms, impeccable housekeeping. What could be much improved is the lounging around the pool, worse than economy seating on aeroflot....much much too cramped...the beach however is very well organized at a reasonable cost, with excellent food service from the great hotel kitchen. We have been to South Beach a number of times.
This is our first time at the Lowes. Prior, we have stayed at The Sagamore and Tides. We decided to try to Lowes because it appeared to be a more active hotel. I wish we didn't! We just checked in today at noon. They told us our room would be available in one hour, the another 15 minutes, then another....we finally get our room at 4 PM. We booked 2 rooms. One was suppose to be a premium ocean front. Again, I am not sure how they define premium, but my definition is not the same. The only way you can see the ocean is if you bend over the balcony and crane your neck. When I called up to complain, the woman asked if I wanted an upgrade. I almost laughed out loud. For over $420/night that I am paying now, why the heck would I pay more for Lord knows what I would get. That aside, the pool is insanely crowded. Expect it to be very difficult to get a chair. The hotel elevators have music blasting in them like a night club. I have yet to find anything that would ever make me return here. I am counting the hours until we head off to the airport to head to the Atlantis Reef (a true top notch hotel).
