Pop Up Screens will be popping up at a location near you. The outdoor cinemas are held around London, including Bishop’s Park in Fulham, Morden Hall Park, Mycenae Park in Blackheath and Manor House Gardens in Lewisham. Cult classics like Top Gun, Shaun of the Dead, and the Big Lebowski are shown on the big screens, while draught beer, cider and wine is on tap and there’s an ever-changing food offering. 7 Vauxhall Village, Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens Free cinema screenings are held throughout the summer at the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. The listings haven’t been released yet but check the website for details. There are blankets to hire for £2.50 and deck chairs for £5, which comes with a bag of popcorn. A bar and street food vendors will be feeding and watering the crowds. Because you can’t book, make sure you get there early. Chiswick House will be showing back to back outdoor summer cinema screenings of Romeo and Juliet and Top Gun on 12 and 13 August 2015. Spread out a picnic the Western Lawn the beautiful house as a backdrop. Both screenings start at 8.30pm and cost £13 for adults and £6 for children. 9 The Scoop, Southbank The Scoop on the Southbank will be showing free films by the edge of the Thames from 2 to 24 September 2014. Part of the More London Free Festival, the films are shown in an 1,000-person sunken amphitheatre and held alongside other free music, art and theatre events.

Booking isn’t necessary but make sure you take a cushion along with you. The new foodie destination Broadgate Circle will be screening films outdoors this summer among its programme of alfresco events, which also includes a spot of volleyball – perfect for a lunch break! Check the website for cinema listings. This park is tranquil and yet is so close to the middle of the hustle and bustle! Me and my partner have been here and just strolled through at our own leisure whilst talking away and eating an ice cream. On another occasion we have also had a picnic here with family which is lovely. The other end of the... If you like green, open, enormous space, full with beautiful trees and benches to sit and joy the nature this is the right place for you. Although Wordsworth was referring to his beloved Lake District, Green Park in the spring fits this description. It is a good place to walk on the way to Hyde or St James Parks. If you stop to rest in one of the lawn chairs, you must pay a small rental fee.

Lovely park close to Piccadilly and Buckingham Palace. Lots of wide open space used by many types - joggers, dog walkers, strollers like us. Great central location and easy to use to get from one location to another. In such a busy and crowded city that London is, it is amazing that any green belt exists at all. However, ancient laws prohibit any building on Londons inner parks and hopefully those laws will remain for ever. Whilst smaller that Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, Green Park is still a beautiful piece of greenery which is well kept in... Walked through green park on the way to see other sites. Upon exiting the tube station i was surprised how large it was. Lots of space, places go get a drink, joggers, excercise classes and piles of deck chairs i assume you can help yourself to.the hilight of my visit was watching a fella trying to unfold one of said... This park is bounded by Piccadilly, Buckingham Palace and St. James's Park. My husband and I enjoyed walking through the park and people watching from the benches.
