Our rear room is 17’ 6” x 15’+. Our entrance and all rooms have level access. We have disability toilet facilities. We pre-set our central heating as required for each letting. The building is unstaffed - hirers collect the key from and return it to the local shop (other arrangements if outside shop opening hours). Hirings include use of our kitchen (except the cooking stove) small tables and child and adult chairs.
Equipment is supplied for all hirers to clean (vacuum floors, wash-up, clean kitchen and toilets, put rubbish out in bags in bins, return all items used to their places, etc) and leave the building ready for the next user. We are a popular venue for children’s birthday parties. We restrict these to up to 10th birthdays only. Our standard Hiring Agreement must be completed and payment received by us in advance. There is a standard charge of £90 for 3 hours use (30 minute set-up, 2 hour party, 30 minute clear away/clean).  And we require a returnable deposit of £100 which we may wholly or partially retain in the event of breakage, damage and/or the building being left unsatisfactorily cleaned/tidied. Hirings for business, social, self-help and faith purposes (faith hirings must accord with our Christian ethos) are dealt with on an individual basis. In churches with a tradition of public kneeling prayer, pews are often equipped with kneelers in front of the seating bench so members of the congregation can kneel on them instead of the floor.
