What you need to know if you're travelling with a baby, infant or child. Babies can travel provided that they are at least 14 days old. Infants under two weeks of age cannot fly. Babies and infants under 2 are not charged a full fare, but will be charged a flat rate of £22 per flight if they travel on the lap of an accompanying adult. Babies and infants travelling on an adult’s lap also need their own boarding pass, which can be collected from the airport check-in desk. If you wish to book a seat for your infant to make your journey more comfortable  this cannot be booked online and you will need to contact our Customer Service Team to make the booking. If you wish any infant under two to have their own seat you will need to bring a car seat to use on the plane. Only 2 infants are allowed with every one accompanying adult, while all passengers aged 2 or over are charged a full fare and must occupy their own seat. All children aged two or over are charged a full fare and must occupy their own seat.

You can breastfeed at any time during the flight including during take-off and landing, provided that your baby is secured to you with an infant extension seat belt whenever the fasten seatbelts sign is on.  Please speak with a member of the cabin crew if you are unsure at any time. So, what equipment can I take for infants and children? If you are travelling with an infant or young child you can take up to 2 of the following items free of charge: Collapsible or non-collapsible pram The items must be tagged at the check-in or bag drop desk and they can be carried to the aircraft door or steps where one of our crew will store them safely for you. They can be collected from the baggage carousel on arrival. If you have checked in online and you are carrying hand baggage only, the items can be tagged at the boarding gate (except the travel cot). Alternatively the two items can be checked-in as hold baggage at no additional charge. Please note that each of the above items cannot weigh more than 32kgs.

Booster seats can be taken as or within hand baggage provided they fit within the standard cabin baggage measurements (measuring a maximum 56 x 45 x 25cm).
