It can be used as a cradle (without the table or footrest), as a high chair (as shown) or simply a chair without the table. It also kind of reminds me of a barber's chair in that it can be raised or lowered and recline in three different positions. It did take a while to assemble as the instruction manual only had pictures with no words (kind of building a lego set), but you can watch a video here [...]. I would also warn people not to buy this chair with the old seat liners (Bloom Fresco Contemporary Baby Chair, Seat Pad With Harness Set (Large+Small Pads) Coconut White (Leatherette).
