The Blackstone Arm Chair and its companion side chair are a comfortable interpretation of an old-world classic. The Blackstone is crafted from solid American Walnut, standard in Saddlefinish. Hickory’s Pershing Sofa is a modern interpretation of a classic Knoll design paired with a clean Danish-inspired exposed American Walnut base. Available in two different sizes, the Pershing is also offered with a dressmaker skirt. Wearing her signature ball skirts, with a soft-spoken voice and lady-like demeanor, Suzanne Kasler is the epitome of the Southern lady.

Her Southern charm is evident in her French-inspired collection for Hickory Chair Furniture Company. Feminine, adorable and a bit whimsical, the Alexandria Chair is one of Suzanne’s most recognizable pieces. Perfect for a contemporary or traditional space, the Argonne sofa can take on a masculine look in leather or with a dark stain. Reverse-gilding on the glass top Loring Coffee Table makes it unique and interesting. I am personally making the Candler bed a grand success. I think I have already put it in three projects and the amazing thing is, none of them looked even an ounce the same. Versatility is the key to this great looking bed. The Candler can be a simple wood frame in king, queen or twin size or it can come with this quaint slipcover. The Candler’s height is totally customizable ranging from a low daybed to an extra tall headboard. So there is no wonder I can keep using this piece time and again without getting tired of it. I think the Frederica bench is my favorite of Suzanne’s pieces.

It is especially stunning with this creative fabric application above. But looks equally sophisticated in a simple linen with an accent gimp trim. Another of Suzanne’s whimsical accent pieces is the curvy little Anastasia Bench. Great in multiples or alone, the Anastasia has a plethora of possible uses. A good desk is hard to find. Suzanne Kasler’s Asheworth desk combines the leggy charm of a writing desk with the great storage of a double pedestal. The x-base makes it updated and fresh even though it is inspired by the traditional campaign style. Pairing the Hunt Chair with the Asheworth is obviously a good option, but I especially love the Hunt for the dining room.  I have to confess I have used sets of these twice already too. With a bit of glam, the Nanette is feminine and fun but surprisingly comfy. And with the option of a slipcover, it is again versatile for all types of interiors. Paired with the Auburn ottoman the Nanette becomes a place to put your feet up and stay a while.

Handsome and urban, the Prado bookcases are a great compliment to Suzanne’s upholstery. Nothing makes a room feel more comfy to me than books and the Prado makes any collection look fantatic. Suzanne’s third slipcovered option is with the Inman ottoman. This large square piece goes from city to cottage with one little step. The Ansley chair is the perfect little slipper. How’s that for options? Pair it with a painted version of the Amsterdam chair for a bit more casual look. And if you are looking for something even more casual, the Piedmont table may just be your answer.  Available “made to measure” I have seen this piece small, long and even bar height. It looks beautiful with the Carlyle credenza which comes in two sizes.
