Loose or slipcovered sofas are a practical option as you can remove, launder and change the covers on your sofa.  Problem is, they can be hard to find in Australia. I love the relaxed look of a loose white cover but with a black dog and two teenagers, there’s no way I could have a white fully upholstered sofa.  I’d need to get it professionally cleaned all the time.  Loose covers mean I can wash or change the cover whenever I need to. Budget: The HASTINGS 2 and a half seat sofa is $2,195 and the WINDSOR is $2,995white kitchen chair slipcovers Early Settler sell the ROCHELLE 3 seater chaise with a removable dry-cleanable cover.  cheap used wheelchair vansThis is a big sofa so you need plenty of room.  No additional covers are available.  Currently on sale for $2,590. Zanui sell the HAMPTON sofa in a linen cover for $1,379. Freedom sell the Benson loose cover sofa.  Only available in Donkey colour.  Currently on sale for $1,699.

Molmic make the LOFT sofa which has a removable cover.  There are 5 colours available in the LEVI fabric range to choose from. The HAMPTONS sofa from MCM House is available in white, stone or smoke covers.  It retails for $5,600 Pottery Barn has a great range of slip covered sofas and covers but they are not available in Australia even though they were briefly.  We will have to stay tuned as to whether they make a return.
